Hello everyone,
For this month's Software Club we are going to do something different and because of this, I am sending this note to members of our Embroidery Club as well so we can all get our creative juices flowing.
This class is for those of you who want to learn how to take some of the many designs you have purchased and use parts of them with other designs to create your own new project. You do not need to own embroidery software.
If you haven't already made the jump and purchased the software, have you wondered what software can do? Do you have the software but haven't used it to it's potential? Do you want to see how you can become a creative genius just using purchased designs? You can do some of these techniques without software as well, directly on your embroidery machine.
Janet Clark has created a series of wall hangings each approximately 1 m long. Using a variety of embroidery designs from various sources, she has taken them into the embroidery software to customize them for her projects. Join Janet and I in this Show and Tell session as she takes you through her process to create these fun wall hangings. Learn how to take ideas and inspiration from the internet to plan, design and then stitch out your own unique creation.
This month’s Software Club will be meeting via Zoom on Sunday, June 12 from 9:30 to 11:30 am and again on Friday, June 17 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
This class is via Zoom and will be recorded for viewing over and over again in the future. You don't need to have software to attend and can watch on your computer, tablet or smart phone.
