As much as we don't want to see the Summer end too soon, with the next season just around the corner, it's time to get ready for Fall.

The September project "Autumn Blessing" is a cute way of decorating around the house & cottage.
Although the instructions are meant to make a small bench pillow (measuring 9 1/2" x 5" finished), there is nothing stopping you from centering it on a larger pillow or using the stitch out to make something totally different (e.g. a garden flag, a wall hanging, a table runner, etc.)

By providing you with this link you will be able to view the directions on your devices (phone, tablet, etc) instead of printing them. It will also allow a sneak peak at what supplies you may need when you come to pick up your files. The designs for this project will be available at Sew-Jo's after the 1st of September.
| The project instructions use specialized ribbon to make a sunflower, which you can see in the picture above if you look closely. We decided instead to use a sunflower design that Cathy created. She has made three different sizes, 80x80, 120x120 and 200x200. If you are interested, you can purchase them from Sew-Jo's at $2 for each size. It is an applique style design and we used different types of centres. |
