Just a quick reminder that the deadline for submissions to the Box Top Challenge is one week away (June 15th). As usual what we've received so far is amazing! We plan to showcase the projects "gallery style" in the backroom (former classroom) of Sew-Jo's, we will accept finished projects anytime before the 16th. As we did before, we will prepare a file with pictures of all the completed projects for voting purposes which will be posted on our website on or before June 30th. Voting will begin on July 1st by email - we will send out instructions on how to vote with the file.
UPDATE on Jo
We're sure you are all wondering about Jo. She is on the mend, but still a home going stir crazy. Hopefully she will get more news on the state of her infection this week so she can continue on her journey to getting back on her feet (pun intended). Thank you all so much for your kind words and wishes for her during this difficult time.
However, we are still in the throes of this pandemic, and the health & safety of our customers and associates is a priority. Therefore, the same safety measures will still be in place. Please note that these are subject to change without notice if we feel we need to adjust them for your well being.
Occupancy Limits
One customer in the store at a time. Due to the size of the store it is not possible to provide navigational flows with markers to allow proper physical distancing at all times, therefore, we need to limit the number of people in the store.
Limit Your Shopping Time
Customers will be asked to limit their shopping time (15-20 min). We will try and manage this through some type of a sign-up/time-stamped sheet at the door so you can wait in your car and not on the sidewalk, but we will need your cooperation and help. This will only apply if there are customers waiting.
Respect Physical Distancing
Customers and store staff are asked to maintain a 6’ distance at all times.
Wearing Of Face Masks
Customers are required to wear a face mask in order to protect those working in the store. We in turn will also be wearing a face covering in order to protect you!
Communication
We are continuing to receive your orders/questions/comments by email. As you know, e-mail is 24/7 and we are operating under reduced hours, therefore, we continue to ask for your cooperation and patience.
In order to help us help you, we ask that you ensure your email has the following information: Your full name and a phone number as well as where you can be reached. The clearer the request, the quicker we can action it without a lot of back and forth.
