Hi everyone,
Hope you are all staying safe and healthy and enjoying the warmer weather. This is a note to let you know that we will remain open for curbside pickup during this next round of shut downs. If you need anything to continue in your project, feel free to contact us any time between 10 am and 4 pm, Tuesday through Friday.
If you are looking for a class to fill the time, while we can't do classes in the store, we do have a couple of zoom quilting classes that will be starting in a few weeks.
If you would like to try a Fabric collage, Jane Roszell is offering her Fancy Fabric Collage class. In this class you will create a wall hanging of your favourite animal or object using fabric scraps. Take your favourite photograph, turn it into a pattern and from there create a beautiful fabric collage.
This is a fun class that is easier to do than you think. |

Beauty Blocks is for those of you who have an embroidery machine. Janet Clark has designed a New York Beauty style quilt that is pieced completely in the hoop! It's the easy way to piece a difficult block. Any embroidery machine with a hoop of at least 200x200 mm can stitch these designs.
Beauty Blocks was inspired by the "New York Beauty" block, a well known quilt design which offers a wide range of fun and creative ways to combine and make wonderful quilted projects.
This course will provide designs and instructions on how to stitch Beauty blocks in-the-hoop. Participants will be lead through the steps on how to create each block. As well, Janet will discuss how to use these blocks in different projects and procedures will be provided for how to make a 35 block quilt. |

Even though our lives are turned upside down the fabrics keep coming. Look what just arrived! We found some Canada themed quilt fabric that looks like knitting. We also have the complete Ophelia line and patterns and kits to go with it!
