What's New at Sew-Jo's

Hello everyone,

This is a quick note to let you know we have added some new classes that will be done via Zoom.

If you haven't yet seen it, Tara is starting a Quilt-Along next week.  This class will be creating an intricate looking, but simple to make, star block each class.  The blocks are primarily made with flying geese, half square triangles and hour glass blocks with some joining blocks using a specialty ruler.  It will be stunning with our Northcott Ombre gradiated fabric.

Tara is also offering a new class for those of you who have taken her basic ruler quilting classes and for those of you who would like more ideas on using ruler quilting.  This series of 6 classes will focus on possible designs for a different classic block each class.  Ideas for Friendship Stars, Log Cabins, and many more.

Lastly, Cathy is offering Techniques classes for the Designer Brilliance 80 and Designer Sapphire 85 owners.

Jane Roszell is also interested in providing a class over zoom.  Stay tuned for details on it.

If you are interested in attending any of these classes, please sign up online at our  website www.sew-jos.ca/classes.htm or give us a call at the store between 10 am and 4 pm, Tuesdays through Thursdays.

While you're on our website, take a look at the Look What's New under the heading PRODUCTS WE SELL.  With spring on its way, we have received some new fun fabrics, Cathy has added the recordings of her software classes if you missed one and want to catch up.  These classes can now be purchased and downloaded online.

Lastly, the Kraft-Tex challenge is ending this week.  If you have a project to share, you better get finished.  We have a new challenge in the works, so stay tuned.

Any questions, please let us know.

You will be happy to know that Jo is now back in the store two days a week, navigating on wheels.  She is very appreciative of all the kind words and messages you have been sending us.
