Hello everyone,
With the current pandemic Husqvarna Viking is not able to hold their annual convention where they showcase new products. However, they are still rolling out new products and updates.
This note is to let you know that there will be a firmware update for the following machines coming soon:
- the Designer Epic embroidery machine scheduled for October 19,
- the Designer Epic 2 embroidery machine scheduled for October 21,
- the Designer Brilliance 80 embroidery machine scheduled for October 26,
- the Epic 980Q sewing machine scheduled for October 28.
The purpose of the updates is to allow improved mySewnet Apps communication and general bug fixes. It will also allow the Designer Epic machines to now be able to use the Multi-Function Foot Control as well as the Ribbon Embroidery Attachment, which up until now is only available on the Designer Epic 2.
For those of you who own the Designer Epic 2 embroidery machine, we now have your H foot that was missing from the original shipment of the machine. Please drop into the store at your convenience to pick it up.
There are several new accessories now released specifically for the Designer Epic 2 and the 9mm stitch with capability: the Multi-Line Decorative foot; the Felting Embroidery set; the Clear Seam Guide Foot with IDF; and the 3-hole Yarn foot with IDF. Coming next month will be a 9/11 hole Cord Foot with IDF; the Transparent B Foot; the Clear B Edge Joining Foot; and the Clear B Edge Stitching foot.
