Hello everyone, This month’s Software Club will be meeting via Zoom on Sunday, September 13 from 9:30 to 11:30 am and again on Friday, September 18 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Last month, there was some discussion on creating a needle organizer or holder to hold our needles that are used but not finished or unusable. So this month we're going to create a couple of in the hoop (ITH) needle organizers. The Encore feature in our software makes this really easy.
I've done some research on the different needle sizes and types. These are some the versions I've come up with so far.
 
These can either be a large pincushion, a wallhanging or folded over to make a book.
In order to get the most out of the Zoom session, we found that having two devices was a benefit. You can use your laptop to do the lesson with me and then have the Zoom meeting on a tablet or even smart phone to see what I'm doing on my screen. If you don't have two devices, you can use two windows on the one screen, but it did take some finagling to get it working properly. We found it useful that the device with your zoom session has voice capability.
If you have stitched out any previous sessions’ design(s) please have it (them) close at hand as well, or any show and tell. We all like to see what you have been doing.
