Hi again everyone,
I know I have already sent you a note about this month's Software Club, but I have some good news I had to share! I just tried doing the lesson on Zoom with a willing victim, (thanks Judy) and it worked!
So, I am going to set up a Zoom meeting on Sunday morning, starting at 9:15 am and we will do Software Club virtually starting at 9:30 am. This way, hopefully, some of you will have an easier time with my notes. If all goes well, and there is a demand, I will repeat the Club with a Zoom meeting on Friday evening.
In order to get the most out of the Zoom session, we found that having two devices was a benefit. You can use your laptop to do the lesson with me and then have the Zoom meeting on a tablet or even smart phone to see what I'm doing on my screen. If you don't have two devices, you can use two windows on the one screen, but it did take some finagling to get it working properly.
If you have stitched out any previous sessions’ design(s) or any show and tell, have them close at hand to show us so the rest of us can be inspired.
