More Projects during Isewlation

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all staying safe and healthy.

To give you an update on us, Jo-Ann is continuing curbside service at the store with reduced hours with Annette's assistance.  Business has been steady with many of you needing help, supplies or a machine tune up.  Cathy has been madly sewing for the local groups making masks, gowns, scrub hats and headbands.  As well, for a break, she has made an embroidery design for you.  It is an in-the-hoop Pocket Hand Sanitizer holder and is available for you using the new Project Creator available from Husqvarna Viking.  To access it, you can click on this link:  https://projectcreator.mysewnet.com/project/preview/366282ce-8a4a-4e1e-b6bf-e5afb443e639.

You will need to have an account at mySewNet, which if you haven't already created, can be done at https://mysewnet.com.  If you would like detailed instructions on how to use mySewNet and were unable to attend the club last summer where Cathy showed you how or have lost the notes from the club, you can download her notes by clicking on this link: mySewNet and free apps.  Feel free to contact her by e-mail if you have any difficulties.

Our previous email provided some links for projects.  There are also some free designs available for anyone with a Designer Epic or Designer Epic 2 embroidery machine.  To find them, go to www.HusqvarnaViking.com/en-CA.  Click on Accessories pull down menu and select Accessory Finder.  Then click on the Type pull down header, then select Hoop.  Click on the new Mega Quilters Hoop to open the details on it.  There is a link to the free designs here.  It is a .zip file, so you'll need to unzip to get to the five designs.   Even if you don't plan to purchase the new hoop, you can still stitch these designs out in the 360x260 hoop.

While you’re there, I would suggest if you haven't been to the web site lately, you might want to spend some time looking around, clicking around.  There is lots of interesting stuff there to see.

Other hoops may also have free designs you can download as well, if you haven’t already.  There are many nice projects to look at as well, under the Inspiration section.  Many of these projects have embroidery designs to download for free.

Next, Husqvarna's sister company Pfaff uses the same hoop and has more designs for it.  To access them, go to www.Pfaff.com.  Click on Accessories pull down menu and select Accessory Finder.  Then click on the Type pull down header, then select Hoop.  Pull up the new Creative Grand Quilters Hoop (the hoop should be the very first selection).  The link to the free designs is on the hoop's web page.  It is also a .zip file, so you'll need to unzip to get to the six designs.   Finally, if you still want more inspiration, click on their Inspiration pull down menu and select Projects.  There are many more different projects here.

Stay safe and stay healthy.
