Hi Everyone,
Husqvarna Club will be meeting on Sunday morning July 7th from 9:30 to 11:30 AM and will be repeated again on Friday evening July 12th from 7 to 9 PM.
It's summer at last! It's that time of year where we are out of doors a lot and don't spend as much time sewing. But if you are like me, I need my fiber fix even in the heat of summer. Here is a small, fast and fun project to satisfy the need to create without having to haul out a whole lot of supplies. Fabric Post Cards! Not just run of the mill fabric post cards, these are made with packing tape transfers. Packing Tape Transfers can be used in a multitude of other sewing projects such as cards and wall hangings, journaling or even bags...I was thinking a wallet would be fun...Super simple and lots of fun. You could even get the kids involved in this.
If you would like to make post cards with Packing Tape Transfers this is what you will need to bring:
A donation for the food bank! I'll supply the rest!
If you have any show and tell please bring it along. We all love to see what you have been working on.
As always the Club is free for anyone who has purchased their machine from either Sew-Jo's or Yarn Forward, however a donation for the food bank would be appreciated. Remember that $1 of change will buy $5 worth of food!
