Hello everyone, this month’s Software Club will be meeting on Sunday, June 16 from 9:30 to 11:30 am and again on Friday, June 21 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Jo has been playing around with ideas of using garden flags to identify the store's parking spots and I thought this was a fun idea to use in the garden. So this month, we are going to create two different large designs that can be stitched out on weatherproof fabric and hung from a holder in your garden or to decorate the front of your house. Pinterest has lots of ideas for inspiration and the most common size is 12” wide by 18” high. We will start by making a large custom sized hoop to fit this, arrange parts of several different designs that come with your software as well as SuperDesigns, and then add wording. Finally we will split the design into portions that fit a hoop in your collection so it can be stitched.
Those of you with the older software packages can also do this project, if you would like to join us. I just won't have the exact wording in my notes. In order to get the most out of the session, please bring your laptop (and software dongle/hasp, if you are using Premier+ version or earlier).
If you stitched out any previous sessions’ design(s) please bring it (them) along as well, or any show and tell. We all like to see what you have been doing.
