Hello everyone,
This month’s Software Club will be meeting on Sunday, January 13 from 9:30 to 11:30 am and again on Friday, January 18 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
I have had a request to do a project with buttonholes, so this month we are going to do some projects using buttonholes. We will start with a small drawstring bag using the built in buttonhole stitch. Pull a string or ribbon through the holes and you can use it for valentine treats. We will then move on to using more decorative SuperDesigns and position them to be used for a buttoned scarf. Lastly we will use a SuperDesign buttonhole and use the Endless wizard in our software to place multiples. This technique works well for a placket on a shirt and other places where you might want equally spaced buttonholes.
Those of you with the older software packages can also do this project, if you would like to join us. I just won't have the exact wording in my notes.
In order to get the most out of the session, please bring your laptop (and software dongle/hasp, if you are using Premier+ version or earlier). If you stitched out any previous sessions’ design(s) please bring it (them) along as well, or any show and tell. We all like to see what you have been doing.
