Hello. You are receiving this e-mail message as you were on the mailing list for Yarn Forward & Sew-On. As you probably know, Yarn Forward has closed, leaving a void in the local sewing community. To fill this gap, I am opening a new sewing studio, Sew-Jo’s, having acquired a Husqvarna Viking dealership and will be offering more classes as well as assistance with your sewing needs, and look forward to continuing the camaraderie. We will continue to service all machines purchased at Yarn Forward.
My note to you today is to let you know that after months of hard work (I hope you had a chance to see us on the CTV Ottawa 6:00 pm news on July 31), we are finally ready to open the doors to our sewing studio with the Grand Opening on this Saturday, September 15. I hope you can find time to join us any time between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm at the new location, 405 St. Laurent Blvd (between Montreal Road and Beechwood) to join in the celebration. We will have discounts on notions and accessories as well as fabulous door prizes to be won. Snacks and goodies will be available too.
If you haven’t already checked it out, please visit www.sew-jos.ca and take a look at the website Cathy has put together, including the classes we are offering this fall. We have a much larger classroom in our new location, as well as new teachers offering new ideas. We would be happy to sign you up for classes on Saturday if you are not comfortable doing so online.
