Memory Bear

Come join the fun to make your own memory bear, using items of clothing from a departed loved one or your child’s favourite outfit that they have out grown. Alternatively, you can purchase fabric at Sew Jo’s so you get comfortable making one before you used your treasured items. 

This is a four week class of 2 hour sessions with the possibility of a 5th class if needed.

The first class sewing machines are not required as we are doing preliminary work. There will be homework to do before the second class. 

The second class will be finding out the best way to place and cut the fabrics (hopefully the homework was done). We also should be able to start sewing.

The third and fourth class we will sew and stuff the bear. 

We will be using Funky Friends Factory “Ben the Beginner Bear” it is a nice size bear without really small pieces which makes it easier for learning. 

This is a 5 week class, 2 hours per session.  A kit is required including the pattern, stuffing and eyes.  Cost $120 plus kit fee. Maximum 6 students.
