Owl Baby Quilt

Learn different quilting techniques in this cute baby quilt.  This class is for the competent beginner to intermediate quilter looking to expand their skill set.  Techniques include a simple 9 patch, Irish Chain, Piano Keys along with faced applique. The final class will include quilting the layers together using the walking (dual feed) foot and bind the finished quilt with a half inch double fold binding. Finished quilt is approximately 42" x 55".

Class 1 will consist of cutting the fabrics and prepping the applique pieces;
Class 2 will be piecing the blocks and borders;
Class 3 will be appliqueing the owl, branch and leaves onto the quilt top;
Class 4 will finish off the quilt top;
Last class will show how to quilt the layers and add the binding.

This is a 5 week class, 2 hours per session.  A kit is required including all fabrics for the quilt top and binding.  Batting and backing will be sold separately.  Cost $120. Maximum 5 students.
