Quilted Jacket
Did you love our latest Fall Challenge winner's jacket? Would you like to learn how to make one yourself? Transform an old sweatshirt into a quilted jacket, a fun project that can be done by anyone who has basic sewing knowledge.
Bring to class a sweatshirt one size larger than your usual size. The sweatshirt will be deconstructed IN CLASS. Pieces of your favourite colours of fabric will be cut and sewed together to fit the different parts of the sweatshirt and will be added to the sweatshirt where it will be sewn by using free motion or your favourite sewing machine stitches. A fun project that allows you to be creative with the various fabric you will choose as well as the type of stitches or free motion you will choose to do.
This is a three week course, 3 hours per session. $90.00 plus kit fee that must be purchased. Kit is made up of long quarter cuts of 4-5 different fabrics. Minimum 4 students, maximum 8 students.
