Attic Window Aquarium quilt
In this class we will start by designing the project in the mySewnet™ or Premier+2™ embroidery software. Don't own the software yet? Not to worry, this class can be done using the free version of mySewnet™
Once the design is created, take a Stonehenge Gradations Ombre fabric, embroider it with fish and a sea bottom. Blocks pieced using a quilt as you go method to create an attic window style quilt of an aquarium. Width of sashing and borders will determine the final dimensions of this lap quilt.
The first class will provide the designs and create the design layout for embroidering. It can be done onsite in the store, or offsite via zoom. Class 2 and 3 will be in store where we will cut the background fabric into pieces and start embroidering. Not all blocks will be stitched in the class with some as homework. The last two classes will be to assemble the blocks into a quilt.
Kit including 1 m of background fabric and 3 differrent sashings is required. Kit cost is $45
