We are excited to bring you a series of Technique classes for the Designer Brilliance 80 and Designer Sapphire 85 machines. This is something that has been asked for time and again and we are now going to do the classes via Zoom. Each month we will present a new topic. The first half of the class will explain how to do a technique(s) and the second half will discuss the project provided using the technique.
Each class will be recorded so that if you are not available on the particular day and time, you can still participate. You can also purchase the class after the date at a 10% discount. Built-In Tapering Stitches Tapering stitches are used to create embellishments of various shapes, angles and lengths. As the name suggests, the stitches begin and end with an angled or rounded point. Satin-type stitches generate beautiful designs using specialty threads with appropriate needles. However, many decorative stitches can also be tapered for a unique look. |

8 - October 7, 2021 | Design Shaping In this technique we will look at shaping stitches, spacing buttonholes, shaping embroidery designs, and shaping embroidery designs with stitches. Project: Button Table Runner |
9 - November 4, 2021 | Programming Programming allows you to create combined stitches, letters, and numbers that you may want or need to sew out again and again. Your programmed stitch can be up to 20” (500mm) and can be programmed in sewing mode or embroidery mode. 10 - December 2, 2021 | Design Positioning Design Positioning allows placement of a design exactly where you want it in the hoop, at exactly the angle you need it in the hoop, even aligning with a previously stitched embroidery design. 16 - May 12, 2022 | Twin Needle Embroidery, Endless Embroidery, and Free-standing Lace
The three techniques of twin needle embroidery, endless embroidery, and free-standing lace allow you to create beautiful projects for your home and garment projects. You may even use the free-standing lace designs for crafts such as greeting cards, embellishing flower arrangements, jewelry, or creating 3D embroidered and framed pictures just to name a few! 17 - June 9, 2022 | Endless Hoop & Patchwork Quilting in the Hoop

18 - July 14, 2022 | Crazy Quilting In this class, we will look at how to create a crazy quilt patchwork.
