Welcome to Sew-Jo's
Encouraging your creativity through the art of sewing

Sew-Jo’s is your local Husqvarna Viking sewing machine dealership. We have a reputation for excellent after sales service and specialize in creative classes that inspire you to use your machine to its fullest potential. Our services include sales of top quality sewing machines, embroidery machines and sergers, which include free owners' classes with each machine purchase.

Sew-Jo’s offers classes that focus on machine techniques through classes on sewing, quilting, serging, embroidery and embroidery software. Someone is always available during business hours to answer any questions you may have about our products or your project.

Sew-Jo’s strives to offer classes and a community that inspires you to try new things whether you are a novice or an experienced fibre artist.

Are you ready for another Sew-Jo’s Creative Sewing Challenge?

This time we have decided to issue a “Box Top” challenge! What is a “Box Top” Challenge you ask?

We have collected up a variety of different box tops and created a mystery bag.  Each bag contains one box top along with 3 fat quarters of fabric in colours that are in that box top. Kit price is $20.

Your challenge is to create a project using only the colours that are in the box top in approximately the same amount. For example, if the box top you get is mostly white with a little bit of green, red, brown and black, then you project must be mostly white with a little bit of the same shade of green, red, brown and black.

This is what Jo did in a similar challenge.
Some of you may recognize it.

The fabrics you receive in your kit are yours to keep, but you are not obliged to use them in the challenge project.

You can create anything you want, a wall hanging, a bag, a piece of clothing, a garden flag …. whatever your imagination comes up with.

Bring us your finished project by the June 15 and we will give you a 20% discount off your next purchase. *(Some restrictions will apply.) We will display your entry in our backroom gallery so that everyone can see it in person. Covid restrictions permitting.  You've amazed us with your creativity in our previous challenges; we can't wait to see what you'll do with this one.

The health & safety of our customers and associates is a priority, therefore, there will be a number of safety measures put in-place.  Please note that these are subject to change without notice if we feel we need to adjust them for your well being.
One customer in the store at a time. Due to the size of the store it is not possible to provide navigational flows with markers to allow proper physical distancing at all times, therefore, we need to limit the number of people in the store.
Customers will be asked to limit their shopping time (15-20 min). We will try and manage this through some type of a sign-up/time-stamped sheet at the door so you can wait in your car and not on the sidewalk, but we will need your cooperation and help. This will only apply if there are customers waiting.

Customers and store staff are asked to maintain a 6’ distance at all times.
Customers are required to wear a face mask in order to protect those working in the store. We in turn will also be wearing a face covering in order to protect you!

We are continuing to receive your orders/questions/comments by email. As you know, e-mail is 24/7 and we are operating under reduced hours, therefore, we continue to ask for your cooperation and patience.
In order to help us help you, we ask that you ensure your email has the following information:  Your full name and a phone number as well as where you can be reached.  The clearer the request, the quicker we can action it without a lot of back and forth.

Many have asked why Sew-Jo’s does not have on-line ordering, we don’t and there are NO plans to do so.
Sew-Jo’s values the time you spend with us and the personal interactions.  There are lots of different places to do on-line shopping these days, but there’s NO place like Sew-Jo’s ... Whether your new to sewing or an experienced quilter the motto stands:  Sew-Jo’s is all about:  Encouraging your creativity through the art of sewing.

•  ALL onsite classes are suspended until further notice.
•  ALL Sit-and-Sew sessions are suspended until further notice.
