We are OPEN to Customers for in-store shopping – with some limitations (see below).  As well, we are continuing with Curbside Service for those not comfortable coming into the store – email info@sew-jos.ca for more information.

We are operating under reduced hours - Tuesday through Friday, 10 am until 4 pm, in order for those working to manage this new way of working.

The health & safety of our customers and associates is a priority, therefore, there will be a number of safety measures put in-place.  Please note that these are subject to change without notice if we feel we need to adjust them for your well being.

OCCUPANCY LIMITS
One customer in the store at a time. Due to the size of the store it is not possible to provide navigational flows with markers to allow proper physical distancing at all times, therefore, we need to limit the number of people in the store.
LIMITING YOUR SHOPPING TIME

Customers will be asked to limit their shopping time (15-2 min). We will try and manage this through some type of a sign-up/time-stamped sheet at the door so you can wait in your car and not on the sidewalk, but we will need your cooperation and help. This will only apply if there are customers waiting.

RESPECT PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Customers and store staff are asked to maintain a 6’ distance at all times.

WEARING OF FACE MASKS

Customers are required to wear a face mask in order to protect those working in the store. We in turn will also be wearing a face covering in order to protect you!

COMMUNICATION

We are continuing to receive your orders/questions/comments by email. As you know, e-mail is 24/7 and we are operating under reduced hours, therefore, we continue to ask for your cooperation and patience.

In order to help us help you, we ask that you ensure your email has the following information:  Your full name and a phone number as well as where you can be reached.  The clearer the request, the quicker we can action it without a lot of back and forth.

ONLINE SHOPPING

Many have asked why Sew-Jo’s does not have on-line ordering, we don’t and there are NO plans to do so.

Sew-Jo’s values the time you spend with us and the personal interactions.  There are lots of different places to do on-line shopping these days, but there’s NO place like Sew-Jo’s ... Whether your new to sewing or an experienced quilter the motto stands:  Sew-Jo’s is all about:  Encouraging your creativity through the art of sewing.

A FEW OTHER THINGS:
ALL onsite classes are suspended until further notice.
ALL Sit-and-Sew sessions are suspended until further notice.

Stay safe

Sew-Jo's is issuing a challenge to you for 2020.
We know everyone has UFO's or plans to start some new projects this year.  To encourage you to complete some of them we are issuing a challenge:  Finish twenty (20) projects in the year of 2020 and get a 20% off shopping spree. Your name will also be entered in a draw for a Grand Prize.

Criteria to qualify:
- Bring in your unfinished project so we can take a photo or e-mail a dated photograph of the project to info@sew-jos.ca
- The project can be big or small.  However, they must be different projects, i.e. not 20 pairs of mittens or pot holders.
- We would prefer you bring in your finished project to the store for us to see.  After all, Show n Tell is half the fun of making something!  However, due to the current     restrictions a photo emailed to info@sew-jos.ca will be sufficient for the time being
- Deadline to complete all 20 projects is December 23, 2020.  Draw will be made January 2, 2021.
- A spreadsheet will be maintained at the store of each person's entries and the date completed.
